In less than 48 hours, I will be arguing on behalf of tens of millions of Americans who want to keep the ObamaCare socialist mandate from doing irreparable damage to our nation. See my important message below. – MatDespite the fact that I have argued scores of federal cases in my legal career, each case presents a complex set of challenges and requires intense preparation. My

++ObamaCare has taken an “Alice in Wonderland” tack!
The double-speak being used to defend ObamaCare indicates just
how desperate the President and the DOJ are in defending this unwanted, unneeded legislation.
President Obama originally promised that the mandate forcing Americans to buy insurance or face a penalty was NOT a tax. Now, in court, his DOJ attorneys claim that Congress has the power to enact taxes – and that ObamaCare is, in fact, a TAX!
Last week, in the multi-state case against ObamaCare heard in Florida, U.S. District Court Judge Roger Vinson wrote in his ruling…
“Congress should not be permitted to secure and cast politically difficult votes on controversial legislation by deliberately calling something one thing, after which the defenders of that legislation take an ‘Alice-in-Wonderland’ tack and argue in court that Congress really meant something else entirely, thereby circumventing
the safeguard that exists to keep their broad power in check.”
Obviously, Judge Vinson doesn’t care for the government’s position that “the mandates are only a tax when we say they’re a tax.” Neither should any thinking American!
The individual mandates are the cornerstone of ObamaCare. As soon as the individual mandates are declared unconstitutional, ObamaCare will have to be dismantled.
This outrageous law contains all of the essential elements of overt socialism. It MUST be stopped
before it destroys our medical services industry, makes taxpayer-funded abortion a permanent part
of our culture, and bankrupts our already weakened economy.
Liberty Counsel’s court case on Friday (tomorrow) is a key hurdle in
stopping this disastrous bill before it inflicts insurmountable damage on our nation.
