Pfff! WHO COMES UP WITH THIS STUFF? Obviously they start with the word/title/acronym they want (USA Patriot) & THEN they go back & find words to match the letters of their chosen acronym.
There’s just something sick about all this. Surely Mr. Congressman/ Senator did just not sit down at their desk one day & write across the top of their yellow legal pad, “Uniting & Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept & Obstruct Terrorism,” & then sit back, rubbing their chin & admiring their title, slap themselves on the knee & exclaiming in surprise, “Well BY GOLLY, LOOKIE THERE! THE FIRST LETTERS OF ALL THOSE WORDS SPELLS “USA PATRIOT”!! How cool is that? I’M A GENIUS!”
More than likely they ring up The Learned Elders of Zion at 1-888-666-6666, & say, “Hey, we need a new mind-bending acronym for the American sheeple. And make it a good one!”
